Q: Why does a Web App hang when using a mapped network drive in a BDE Alias?
A: You should NOT use mapped
network drives in BDE Aliases when creating a Web App with dBASE or dQuery.
The mapped drive will not be recognized.
You must use UNC naming convention such as ... \\server\path1\path2 ...
