Count the number of rows (rows) in the current rowset or table and display the number in a dialog box.

Click OK to the count all the rows in the current table. A dialog box then appears with the row count.

To limit the count to a rowset within the table, enter an SQL WHERE statement in the Where box, then click OK.

Count Rows differs from the total number of rows displayed in the status bar. The status bar number represents both deleted and nondeleted rows in the table. If Deleted is checked in the Desktop Properties dialog box, Count Rows does not count deleted rows.

How to get there: In Table Run mode, choose Table|Count Rows.
