Fields Property Builder

Lets you specify which fields from the currently aliased table or query (as specified in the form’s View property) to link to the selected component.

Dialog box options

Available fields

Lists deselected fields from the currently aliased table or query. Empty unless you move fields from the Selected Fields column. To restore deselected field, choose the field and click >. To restore all, click >>.

Selected fields

Defaults to a list of all fields in the currently aliased table or query. To deselect a field—one you don’t want linked to your component—choose it and click <. To deselect all, click <<.

Current selected field

To view the properties of any available or selected field, choose the field name and click the Properties button to open the Field Properties dialog.

How to get there: Select a Browse object, then click the tool button in the fields property.
