Desktop Properties dialog box, Application page
Customize settings for the dBASE Plus desktop environment. The Application page let you skip the prompt for a wizard when you create new forms, reports, labels, data modules, and tables. You can also set the number of remembered files and projects that will appear in the File menu, viewer options, and skip the splash screen.

Prompt For Wizards
When you double-click a new (Untitled) table, form, or report icon, a dialog box appears prompting you to choose either the Wizard or the Designer. By unchecking these boxes you can skip this dialog, causing the new form, report, label, data module, or table to open in Design mode.
File menu
Click the spinboxes to change the number of Most Recently Used files and projects that can be displayed in the File menu.
Database
Set options for use with client/server database applications:
Remember logins If checked, you don’t have to type in a login string for frequently used databases.
SQL Trace If checked, echoes all SQL statements to the Command window’s Results pane. Useful for debugging.
Viewers
Set options for image and OLE viewers:
Size window to content If checked, the viewer appears with just the right dimensions to display the OLE application or an image.
Play animation continuously If checked, any animations are looped, repeating endlessly.
Save objects as OLE 2.0 If checked, OLE 1.0 objects in legacy code will not work. Check this option only if you do not have to support the older version of OLE.
Splash Screen
If checked, displays the dBASE Plus logo at startup. Uncheck this to skip the splash scren and speed startup.
