Set your preferences for the display of the Component palette.

Dialog box options

Display

Choose how you want dBASE Plus to display components on the Component palette:

Text No icon, just the component name

Image Just the icon appears

Image with text below Description appears below the icon

Image with text to the right Description appears to the right of the icon

Show tabs

Organizes palettes into tabbed pages.

Dockable

When checked, Component palettes may be fixed in position by dragging to the top, bottom or sides of the dBASE Plus environment. Useful on a large monitor.

Revert cursor to pointer

Automatically turns the mouse into a pointer after you've placed a component or field object. When unchecked, the component or field icon you select remains in effect until you select the pointer. This lets you place multiple instances of an object without having to return to the palette to select the object each time.
