Table wizard, step two
Select the table type. Then, either run the table to start adding records, or modify the table structure with the Table designer. Choosing either option ends the Table wizard process.
Dialog box options
Table type
Choose the table type for the appropriate database management software. If you're creating this table on an SQL database server for which a BDE alias exists, the name of the server appears in the text box. If you're creating a table locally, choose either dBASE or Paradox.
Run Table
Choose Run Table to see your new table in dBASE Plus. But first, the Save dialog box opens, asking you to name the table file. Unless you specify otherwise, the file is saved in the current directory. It is given a .DB extension if it is a Paradox table or a .DBF extension if it is a dBASE table.
To modify the table after viewing it in Run mode, click the Design button on the toolbar to open the Table designer.
Design Table
Choose Design Table to view or modify the structure of the table. When you want to run the table, click the Run button on the toolbar.
