Security (Paradox) dialog box

Choose an encrypted Paradox (DB) table for which you wish to establish password protection . To see Paradox tables in the Table listbox, you must first select Paradox in the Table Type box of the Database Administration dialog box. Then select a Paradox table in the Table list box and click Modify Table.

Directory

Click the folder button locate the directory containing the Paradox tables you want.

Table

From the Paradox (DB) tables in the selected directory, choose the table for which you want to create a password.

Modify table

Click to create or modify the password for the selected table:

If the selected table does not have a password, or if you have already entered the password during this session, the Master Password dialog box appears.

If the selected table has a password and you have not already entered it during this session, the Paradox Password dialog box prompts you for a password before the Master Password dialog box appears.

How to get there: Choose File|Database Administration. Choose Paradox as the table type. Click Security.
